Education
Currently, I work as an Anatomy demonstrator at College of Medical and Dental Sciences at University of Birmingham, where I teach anatomy for medical students, dental students, pharmacy and biomedical sciences. I graduated from medical school and received my PhD degree in normal and pathological physiology from Comenius University, Slovakia. I have taught courses in human physiology as part of my PhD responsibilities included teaching courses for medical physiology (in English) for second-year international medical students and for various programs (general medicine and dentistry). During my PhD studies I have studied neurobiology of aggressive behavior in children with autism spectrum disorders. I have worked part-time as a psychiatry trainee and junior Assistant Professor, which included teaching psychiatry courses for third-year international medical students. During my PhD studies I spent together 14 months in two research stays at the Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA where I gained skills necessary for multidisciplinary and international collaboration.
Experience

During my professional tutoring career I developed appreciation of diversity among the students. I am able to "tailor" my tutoring to different learning styles, educational background, study needs. I enjoy the process of teaching and learning lot....and student is always right! ;)
